I came across some funny errors while installing prerequisites of SharePoint 2010. During the installation it was downloading the prerequisites and I was taken by surprise by some funny errors. the total download of the prerequisites was 24.59 MB. It took 30 minutes to reach this threshold and I was hoping it would proceed to the next step. To my surprise it kept on downloading and the counter started showing 25MB of 24.59 downloaded. Though the timer counter and percentage counter showed 00:00:00 of time remaining and 100% completed respectively. This counter went on till it displayed 36.9 MB of 24.59 MB and then proceeded to the next step. I guess Microsoft can fix this. Find the attached video
